Flattening the curve was mostly written based on low quality sources back in march and hasn't been updated. It doesn't really apply anymore. I think we can take most of the useable content from there and rearrange it here with WP:MEDRS compatible sources, as to what is actually being done for COVID-19 mitigation. Any objections? --Investigatory (talk) 10:48, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with this proposal. Flattening the curve did get a lot of coverage at the time but now it fits better as a subsection of a broader article. I think we should be able to find a more descriptive title (making it clear that it's referring to public health) but I can't think of anything at the moment. – Thjarkur(talk)11:54, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Merge. This is a great case for a merge. "Flattening the curve" was a popular term for mitigation in the early spread, but its time has passed (hopefully). This is a good case where a relatively short temporal article neatly fits into another article with a name that will better stand the test of time. Oppose: The Flattening the curve article is directed to a general concept, not to COVID-19 in particular. Possibly, some of the content from the Ftcurve article could be copied to here, but the proposed merge would be inappropriate. —RCraig09 (talk) 05:57, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
